For a lot of businesses, it has been a busy year and days and weeks are quickly passing by. As we approach autumn, Bairbre O’Sullivan has written a very appropriate article on Retirement and what your options are. It’s certainly one worth reading. In PSC we have extensive experience in financial planning which together with the expert advice of Francis Moriarty, from our tax department, on succession planning, will allow us to assess the best options out there for you. We are very focused here in PSC on making your business work for you and by reviewing your retirement plan early on, we can put plans in place to ensure you get the most from your business in the most tax efficient way.
We will also look at one particular area of compliance and in this regard Siobhán Rivas May has written an article on PAYE Modernisation. If you are an employer or an employee, it is worth reading so that you are aware of your obligations from the 1st January 2019. It is by far the most significant reform of the PAYE system since its introduction in 1960.
