Our History

Our Mission Statement

PSC is a business advisory firm dedicated to becoming a leading accounting, financial , corporate and personal taxation service provider. We are committed to building and maintaining excellent client relationship by identifying our client needs and by developing and delivering a premier quality professional service. We aim to do this profitably to ensure our continued growth and to strengthen our competitive position in the market. We will realise these aims through the continuous development of the potential of all our employees and by recognising and valuing their contribution as team members.

Where we began

The firm of PSC was established  in 1981 in Tralee by John Slye. He then went on to expand his business with Neal Peevers and opened a second office in Killorglin in 1984 which now has a sub office in Caherciveen. As the business grew they saw the need to expand their management team so as to provide the clients with the service they deserved and so in 2000, Séamus Cotter joined the partnership team, with Noel Fitzgerald joining the firm in 2004. The practice has continued to grow and one of its key strengths is adapting to changes and so in 2011 in response to the needs of clients, the business expanded into the area of restructuring and set up an office in Limerick headed up by Michael Daly who has extensive knowledge in this area. In addition to this, the business has become specialised in the area of Audit and Tax headed up by Siobhán Rivas May and Francis Moriarty  respectively. These specialised areas together with our Wealth Management division, which is headed up by Eoin O’Neill, provides our clients with a very valuable service on a personal level. We strive to ensure that all clients see us as being part of their team, working with them in achieving their goals.

Where we are now

Our practice never stands still, we embrace change and strive to continually improve the service we provide to our clients with the latest information in the area of audit ,taxation, accountancy, company law and wealth management. We invest in people and in technology ensuring we continue to supply a great service. Through this change we have become one of the leading accounting service providers in the South West.

Where we want to be

Our aim is to continue to grow but remain personal to our clients and to their business. We have many challenges ahead given the economic times we have gone through and are continuing to go through, but we adapt and we keep moving forward so that both us and our clients will be ready to reap the rewards of an improving economic environment.
