Approved Employer Status
01 July2016: The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA Ireland) is delighted to announce that Peevers Slye Cotter as a valued affiliate have renewed their membership of the CPA Approved Employer Programme (AEP).
Peevers Slye Cotter is celebrating 35 years in business and over the years the practice has grown to be one of the leading Audit and Accountancy practices in the Southwest, offering a range of service tailored specifically to its clients’ needs including book keeping, accounting, audit, taxation and restructuring and related services throughout Ireland. Their offices are based in Tralee, Killorglin and in Limerick.
Peevers Slye Cotter is one of 160 businesses around Ireland who have been designated as employers of choice for CPA students and members. Peevers Slye Cotter have a very structured training program designed for their trainees to ensure that when the trainee graduates they have obtained a very broad knowledge of all aspects of an accountancy firm, from book keeping, sole traders and financial statements from small to large companies including audit which gives them all the qualities of a professional accountant. The trainees are also exposed to a large amount of tax including CGT, CAT, Income tax and Corporation tax.
The CPA Approved Employer Programme allows employers to work with CPA Ireland to develop their trainees into professional accountants, with a structured programme across key areas of accounting and finance, but with an emphasis also on career development, and the fostering of soft skills in such areas as communication, negotiation and people management.
