Experienced Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeepers

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our bookkeeping department for two full-time experienced accounts assistants/bookkeepers in our Tralee office. At PSC we pride ourselves in having a bookkeeping department that can meet the needs of all our clients. The demand for our services continues to grow and therefore we are seeking an experienced individual to fill this role.

Duties will include but are not limited to: 

  • The provision of a full bookkeeping service to our clients including Payroll, RCT & VAT submissions.
  • Dealing with Revenue Queries.
  • Liaising with both clients and other team members to ensure a timely service is provided.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

 

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • Accounting Technician or similar qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Complete understanding of all aspects of VAT, PAYE and RCT compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidential at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work individually and as part of a team.

 

Package: Attractive package available to successful candidate.

Location: Tralee office full time initially with the possibility of a hybrid system following probation.

Receptionist/Office administrator

An opportunity for a full time Receptionist/office administrator for our Tralee office has arisen.  We are seeking someone who is experienced and motived to work well in a busy office. We expect that the person will be well presented, confident and reliable.  Most importantly, we hope that he/she will be a team player who can demonstrate initiative and be able to multi-task and learn, so that all times we meet the needs of our clients in a professional and timely manner.

Duties will include but are not limited to: 

  • Answering phones, directing calls as appropriate and taking messages.
  • Being the face of the company – meeting and greeting all visitors to the office.
  • Digital typing.
  • Being responsible for maintaining certain internal databases.
  • General administration work: filing, photocopying, scanning etc.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

 

Skills Required: 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite of software.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Be Self-motivated with an ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • A people’s person.

Tax Associate Position

PSC Taxation Services is the tax division of PSC Accountants and Advisors, who are one of the leading accountancy practices in Munster, with offices in Tralee, Killorglin and Limerick.  Our team specialises in the provision of Audit, Accountancy, Tax Consultancy and Business Advisory Services to local and national companies, professionals, family businesses, senior company executives and high net worth individuals.

PSC Taxation Services are currently recruiting an experienced tax professional for their office in Tralee.  The successful candidate will have 1-2 years post-qualification experience covering a broad range of clients, particularly SME’s.  An excellent academic record is preferred.  Strong relationship and communication skills are essential.

This role will enable you to develop your career in tax.  It will build on your existing technical and interpersonal skills.  Reporting to the tax director, you will be given responsibility for your own client portfolio which will require knowledge of all major tax heads.

An attractive remuneration package will be available to the successful candidate and there are clear opportunities within the firm for personal development and progression.

Location: Tralee but with travel to the other 2 offices.
