PSC Summer Magazine

Welcome to our Summer edition. We are almost half-way through 2017 and with the recent spell of mild weather in April and May and the ever-increasing optimism in the air, one can’t help but to look forward.

This edition has several interesting articles inlcuding Francis Moriarty, Director of Tax, has written an article on the recent changes in mileage and subsistence rates that Revenue issued which are effective from the 1st April 2017.This area is very topical with Revenue and it’s very important that any claims made are in line with Revenue Legislation.

Eoin O’Neill and Bairbre Dowling are looking well into the future and have written a very interesting article questioning where income will come from in order for you and your family to be comfortable during retirement. It’s a question we are all guilty of putting off as we are so focused on the present. So take 5 minutes out and focus on you for a change.
In our next edition we will be looking at technology, but for now an interesting one to note is the new ROS App (Revenue On line). Simply log on to the App Store or Google Play to download same.
